Summary: On April 28, 2015, three bids were received for the purchase of streetlight poles and bases and a contract awarded to GSC Lighting and Supply. This contract is used to maintain streetlights within the City of Olathe when poles are knocked down, incur weather related damage, have failed inspections, received a poor inspection rating or if poles need to be added to areas in the City.
The initial term of this contract was three years with the option of two additional renewal periods of one (1) year each.
Staff recommends renewal of contract to GSC Lighting and Supply for a one (1) year term.

Financial Impact:
$100,000 to be paid from the Traffic Operations budget.
