Item Description:
Consideration of Ordinance No. 19-63, UDO19-0001: Requesting approval regarding Proposed Amendments to Chapter 18.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance. Planning Commission recommends approval 7 to 0.

Summary:
This UDO update was presented as a discussion item on October 1, 2019. At that time staff presented updates pertaining to building and site design standards, which reflect the City’s effort for higher quality development and redevelopment, as well as providing clearer direction to applicants on the City’s standards and expectations.
Attachment A is a draft ordinance with the proposed updates to Chapter 18.15 of the UDO as presented on October 1, 2019.The ordinance also includes a redline strikethrough for the removal of existing building design standards from 18.15 of the current UDO. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the UDO updates associated with UDO19-0001 on July 22, 2019, by a vote of 7-0.
