Summary:
Johnson County Wastewater (JCW) has made a request for the Olathe Governing Body to consider the enlargement of the Consolidated Main Sewer District to provide sanitary sewer service for approximately 26.20± acres located in the vicinity of W. 143rd Street and Pflumm Road, in the Willow Crossing subdivision. This request is for approval to extend sewer to the property, which is not currently served, and lies within the Johnson County Wastewater service area.
Since the property is within the City of Olathe corporate boundaries, the Governing Body must consent to the creation of the district before a petition can be presented to the Board of County Commissioners for their consideration. City staff has reviewed the request and has identified no issues to preclude the sewer district enlargement.
