Summary:

On February 6, 2020, three (3) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project.  The bids ranged from $2,197,581.42 to $2,434,391.25 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $2,328,756.30. Phoenix Concrete, LLC submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $2,197,581.42. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This Street Preservation project will provide a 2” depth mill and asphalt overlay, spot replacement of concrete curb and sidewalk, installation of ADA sidewalk ramps and replacement of pavement markings on thirty-five (35) local and collector streets.

 

Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2020 and will be completed in Fall 2020.

Financial Impact:

This project is funded from the City of Olathe’s 2020 Street Preservation Program authorized on January 7, 2020. Authorized revenue for the 2020 Street Preservation Program includes:
