Summary:
On January 30, 2020, two (2) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $196,793.00 to $266,857.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $205,325.00. Wiedenmann, Inc. submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $196,793.00. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This project will replace several shared sewer services along Cedar Street prior to the Cedar Street Improvements Project scheduled to begin Spring 2020. Shared sewer services can cause damage to multiple homes when breaks or backups occur. This project will provide separate sewer services for each affected property prior to the replacement of the City’s sanitary sewer main along Cedar Street as part of the Cedar Street Improvements Project.
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in March 2020 and be completed in May 2020.
