Summary:
On April 7, 2020, five (5) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $800,719.00 to $958,850.50 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $895,762.50. Linaweaver Construction, Inc. submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $800,719.00. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This Street Reconstruction project on 102nd Street and Highland Lane, will include full removal of current concrete streets and replacement with subgrade improvements, full depth asphalt pavement, replacement of concrete curb and gutters, and spot replacement of existing sidewalk and driveway approaches as required.
Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2020 and will be completed in Fall 2020.

Financial Impact:
This project is funded from the City of Olathe’s 2020 Street Reconstruction Program authorized on November 5, 2019. Authorized revenue for the 2020 Street Reconstruction Program includes:
General Obligation Bonds $ 5,100,000
