Summary:
On January 5, 2021, seven (7) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $1,317,228.60 to $1,784,838.50 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $1,584,601.00. VF Anderson Builders, LLC submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $1,317,228.60. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This Street Reconstruction project on Spruce Street, Chestnut Street and Cherry Street will include full depth asphalt pavement and subgrade replacement, replacement of concrete curb and gutters, replacement of sidewalk, driveway approaches, the addition of a westbound right turn lane on Spruce Street at Kansas Avenue, street light installation and stormwater improvements.
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in April 2021 and tentatively scheduled to be completed in November 2021.
