Summary:
On January 12, 2021, eight (8) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $1,802,751.82 to $2,983,874.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $2,751,749.00. VF Anderson Builders LLC submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $1,802,751.82. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This Street Reconstruction project will improve Stevenson Street (Cedar Street to Sheridan Street), Walker Street (Stevenson Street to East End Dead End), and Grace Terrace (Stevenson Street to East End Cul-de-sac). Improvements will include full depth asphalt pavement and subgrade replacement, replacement of concrete curb and gutters, replacement of existing sidewalk, installation of missing segments of sidewalk, driveway approaches, streetlight installation, stormwater improvements, and watermain improvements.
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in Spring 2021 and completed in Fall 2021.
