Summary:

This Agreement is in place to allow for the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas to reimburse the City of Olathe for costs associated with the construction/relocation of their sanitary sewer lines as they relate to the I-35 & 119th Street Interchange Reconfiguration Project.  These relocations will be done as part of the ongoing construction project on 119th Street between Renner Road and Strang Line Road.

The sanitary sewer work consists of over 500 LF of relocated 8” PVC pipe, 4 new precast concrete manholes and the removal of 4 existing manholes and 460 LF of existing 8” pipe.  The estimated cost for this construction is $71,357.52.  Through this Agreement, the full amount of the relocations will be reimbursed by the County.

This project will reconfigure the I-35 and 119th Street interchange to a diverging diamond interchange.  The project will provide three thru lanes of traffic on 119th from Renner to Strang Line which will require the bridges over the BNSF to be widened.  Also included in the scope of this project is geometric improvements at Renner Blvd.
