Summary:
On January 19, 2021, four (4) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $7,347,565.50 to $8,548,867.85 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $9,107,981.90. VF Anderson Builders, LLC submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $7,347,565.50. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:

This project will improve Ridgeview Road from a 2-lane section to a 3-lane section with a center left-turn lane and two roundabouts. Improvements will include pavement reconstruction, curb and cutter, bike lanes, an 8’ side path on the east side of the road, a 5’ sidewalk on the west side of the road, storm sewers, new streetlights and waterline improvements.
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in March 2021 and tentatively scheduled to be completed in Spring 2022.
