Summary:
The replacement street sweeper truck will be purchased from Elliott Equipment Company through MODot contract # IFB605CO20000516 - Street Sweepers. The replacement truck is for a 2021 Schwarze Model M5SE SNG Avalanche mounted on a 2022 Freightliner M2 112 CNG Conventional Chassis.
This street sweeper truck will be used by the Stormwater section of the Infrastructure Department, in the on-going cleaning of City of Olathe streets.
The replacement vehicle is being replaced as a part of the regular vehicle replacement process and is fully amortized. The vehicle has paid $269,942.00 through lease fees into the VERF. VERF fund balance will cover the additional $38,058.00.

Financial Impact:
$308,000.00 for the replacement of one (1) street sweeper truck. Funding will come from the Vehicle Equipment Replacement Fund (VERF).
