Summary:
The Fire Department requests authorization to contract with WestNet for the purchase of equipment, installation, and set-up of the First-In Alerting System for Fire Station 8.
The First-In Alerting System notifies Fire and EMS for calls for service. The First-In Alerting system is standardized throughout Johnson County in all Fire and EMS facilities.
The City will be utilizing a cooperative agreement through the Houston-Galveston Area Council (HGAC Contact# EC07-20) to purchase the required alerting system from WestNet.
Staff recommends award of contract to WestNet for all equipment, installation, and support services.

Estimated expenditure for entire project is $63,502.92. To be funded by the Fire Station 8 project.
