Summary:
The State of Kansas competitively issued a bid and awarded a cooperative contract to Bobcat for the purchase of track loaders. A quote based on State of Kansas Contract No. 44071 was solicited from Bobcat. This proposed unit will replace a 2008 Bobcat T300 used by Park Maintenance Division for the purpose of grading park land, loading material and handling large loads.
Staff recommends award of contract to Bobcat.
Bobcat is an Olathe vendor.
The Bobcat is being replaced as part of the regular equipment replacement cycle and is fully amortized through lease fees into the VERF.

$59,429.80 to be paid from the Vehicle Equipment Replacement Fund.
