Summary:
On September 04, 2020 four (4) proposals were received for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Hosting and CNC Managed Services.
Our current JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Hosting and CNC Managed Services Agreement will expire on April 31, 2021. With the goal of assessing current market and negotiating better terms the City initiated a Request for Proposal to seek alternative options. A staff review committee evaluated those responses and the team chose Denovo as the best value to provide Hosting and Managed Services.
The service, for a fixed price, provides unlimited 24x7 support and manages the technical environment to ensure that the system is performing optimally, available and secure. Routine maintenance tasks to maintain system integrity and deploy new capabilities are scheduled and performed after hours and on weekends to avoid conflicts with system availability and business needs. The service is essential for supporting one of the City’s critical systems as it requires highly specialized technical skills. The contract also includes hourly rates for services for development, database, and functional resources to be used as needed.
The term of the proposed agreement shall be for 5 years, with optional one-year renewals.
Staff recommends award to Denovo for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Hosting and CNC Managed Services for $147,600 per year, which is less than the City is paying under
the current agreement of $186,912 per year.
No Olathe vendors can provide these services.

Estimated annual expenditure is $147,600 and will be funded from the Information Technology Department operating budget.
