Summary:
In 2018 bids were received for event set-up and satellite location cleaning services and awarded to Carbon Designworks. In 2018 Carbon Designworks changed their name to A2 Cleanze, LLC.
Regardless of the size of the event, A2 Cleanze, LLC, has experience in knowing the steps to follow and how much time is needed to set up and/or clean up an event. They handle every single aspect of this process and take extra steps to in making ensure that City facilities are cleaned and ready for the next available event.
The work under this contract includes event set-up and break down services at the Eagles Landing, Indian Creek Library, Downtown Library and the Heritage Center and also includes outdoor restroom/shelter cleaning services at the Mahaffie Stagecoach.
Historically the City has spent about $145,000 on these services in years past.
The City recommends renewal of contract with A2 Cleanze, LLC through April 30, 2022.
A2 Cleanze, LLC is an Olathe vendor.

Financial Impact:
Annual expenditures are estimated to be $185,396; this is due to increased events that have started to pick back up from earlier COVID restrictions for large group gatherings. Expenditures will be charged to Facility Maintenance and Event Services budgets.
