Summary:

The agreement defines the responsibility of both the City of Olathe and KDOT in connection with the construction engineering inspections services related to the I-35 & 119^th Street Interchange Reconfiguration project.  This agreement provides funding for up to 50.89% of the total costs of construction inspection for a maximum reimbursement of $319,960.09.

This project will reconfigure the I-35 and 119^th Street interchange to a diverging diamond interchange.  The project will provide three thru lanes of traffic on 119^th from Renner to Strang Line which will require the bridges over the BNSF to be widened.  Also included in the scope of this project is geometric improvements at Renner Blvd.

This project is currently under construction and is tentatively scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021.

Funding for the I-35 & 119^th Street Interchange Reconfiguration Project includes:
