Acceptance of renewal of contract with Secure e-Cycle for electronic waste recycling for the Solid Waste Division of Infrastructure.

Summary:
On October 30, 2017, four (4) bids were received for electronic waste recycling for the Solid Waste Division of Public Works. This service provides Olathe residents the opportunity to recycle unwanted electronic devices including televisions, computers, and monitor screens.
This renewal marks the second (and final) contract period with Secure e-Cycle. Pricing will not increase with this renewal term. During the life of the contract, Secure e-Cycle has continued to provide the City with excellent and timely service that exceeds our expectations. Staff recommends renewal of this contract with Secure e-Cycle for a two (2)-year term with no additional options for renewal.

Financial Impact:
$50,000.00 for 2021 and $50,000.00 for 2022. Expenditures will come from the Solid Waste operating budget.
