Summary:
The introduction of the 2022-2026 CIP on May 18th is an opportunity for the City Council to preview the proposed 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan.
The remaining proposed 2022 budget calendar is as follows:
June 1 - CIP Study Session - City Council review the 2022-2026 CIP and provide direction to staff on development of the plan
June 15 - City Manager general overview of the 2022 proposed Budget, 2022-2026 proposed CIP and 2022 proposed Fee Schedule
June 29 - Budget Workshop #1
July 6 - City Council consideration of Resolution to Exceed Revenue-Neutral Rate
July 20 - Budget Workshop #2
August 3 - Budget Workshop #3
August 17 - Budget Workshop #4, if needed
September 7 - Public Hearing for the 2022 proposed Budget
September 21 - City Council Adoption of 2022 Budget, 2022-2026 CIP, and 2022 Fee Schedule

Financial Impact:
The 2022-2026 CIP will be funded through a number of sources (cash funding, special revenue sources, general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, and outside funding sources).
