Summary:
During design of the Pflumm Road, 143rd to 151st, Improvements project, it was determined that there was a need for a signalized pedestrian crossing to be installed on Pflumm at 147th Street. Because of the federal funding associated with the Pflumm Road project, the signalized pedestrian crossing could not be installed with the construction of the Pflumm improvements. As such, this portion of the project was bid after completion of the Pflumm improvements project. This signal will only be activated when the crossing button is pushed.
On December 18, 2023, four (4) bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. The bids ranged from $212,281.60 to $253,505.00 with the Engineer’s Estimate at $160,440.00. Capital Electric Line Builders, LLC submitted the low and responsible bid in the amount of $212,281.60. The following is a tabulation of the bids received:
