Summary:

This is a request to accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Prairie Ridge Plaza Evergreen. The final plat establishes lot lines for one (1) lot and two (2) tracts to accommodate the construction of a 200,150-square-foot Continuing Care Facility for Evergreen Senior Living (RZ24-0002), which is also under consideration on this meeting agenda.

 

This plat will dedicate public utility easements (U/E), drainage easements (D/E), and tree preservation easements (TP/E). No additional right-of-way is being dedicated with this plat.

 

The unplatted area is subject to a street excise tax of $0.215 per square foot of land area and a traffic signal excise tax of $0.0576 per square foot of commercial land area.

Action Needed:

1.                     Accept the dedication of land for public easements for the final plat of Prairie Ridge Plaza Evergreen (FP24-0002) (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).

2.                     Reject the dedication of land for public easements and return the plat to the Planning Commission for further consideration with a statement specifying the basis for the Governing Body’s failure to accept the dedication (majority vote of the Councilmembers present required).
