Summary:
The 167th & Ridgeview Geometric Improvements Project will improve safety and capacity of the 167th Street and Ridgeview Road intersection by installing a roundabout. Improvements will include pavement construction, curb and gutter, medians, streetlights, sidewalk, and storm sewers.
The proposed agreement with Water District No. 1 (WaterOne) will allow for compensation to relocate the existing water mains in conflict with the planned improvements. WaterOne’s infrastructure is within private easements, therefore the City is responsible for all costs associated with the relocation effort. The estimated cost of the relocation is $155,933.66. The actual costs will be reconciled when WaterOne completes their relocation work.
The relocation of the WaterOne facilities is tentatively scheduled to begin Spring 2024. Completion is tentatively scheduled for Summer 2024, in advance of the start of the City project.
