The agreement is for $349,957.53 and will include data gathering and analysis of the safety of Olathe’s roadways for multimodal transportation alternatives and develop a holistic, well-defined strategy to prevent roadway fatalities and serious injuries in the City of Olathe.  Analysis of the sidewalk and trails systems, as well as ADA compliance on existing and proposed infrastructure shall be a focus as well. Included in the scope will be a focus on equity and disadvantaged users by improving walking and biking access for individuals.
