Summary:
This project is needed to address a lack of quality, consistent signage and wayfinding tools in the City of Olathe. The project will allow the City of Olathe to properly plan for, design and incorporate an improved signage and wayfinding system in parks, on trails, and within unique places. Deliverables will include a Signages & Wayfinding Design guidelines manual and conceptual planning for a pilot project.
The total cost for this project is $100,000 that will include stakeholder engagement, public engagement, programming, development of Signage & Wayfinding Design Guidelines, cost estimates, and assistance with planning and bidding of the pilot project.
This project is scheduled for completion in 2024. The pilot project is anticipated to follow in 2025/2026.
